The editors interviewed Ted about his business, which is providing disability insurance for high-end clients such as actors, athletes, celebrity chefs, high-end physicians and CEOs. Speaking of insuring Celebrity Chefs, this was the focus of Ted’s article as it appeared this month on the cover of Risk Management magazine.
The Boston Business Journal reports that The Company Theatre, a non-profit performing arts center in Norwell, MA, sold out its 18 performances of "Annie" before the curtain went up on the first night, thanks in part to some excellent publicity. This is the second musical in a row that has sold out before the first show was performed. The previous one was "Paragon Park," an original musical that debuted at the theatre over the summer.
Boston celebrity chef Jasper White, owner of the Summer Shack restaurants. came upon a rare Calico Lobster and instead of putting him in a lobster roll he donated it to New England Aquarium. The story hit The Boston Globe the next day, showed up in newspapers across the country, and also resulted in an interview and story in the New York Times.
Mercantile Bank in Boston was recently featured in a cover story in The Boston Globe, spotlighting its efforts on behalf of troubled adults.
